Clonkill Hurling & Camogie Clubs New Crest

We are pleased to announce our new and improved club crest representing both Clonkill Hurling Club and Clonkill Camogie Club that was launched on 29 December 2023 at our Clonkill Fun Day

Although both the Hurling and Camogie clubs remain separate entities (the Hurling Club is affiliated to the GAA and the Camogie Club is affiliated to the Camogie Association), both clubs are interdependent on each other and work closely together in a combined effort to promote hurling and camogie within our club and community.  There is a strong tradition for both codes in the area and both clubs are keen to develop our facilities together to provide the best amenities possible for future generations.  With this in mind, it was agreed between both committees that we would combine our efforts to develop our facilities and promote the game to the benefit of both clubs.  In doing so we decided to merge both crests into a single unified crest that better represents both clubs equally.  With this new modernised combined crest, we will be recognised as Clonkill Hurling & Camogie working together for the betterment of both clubs.
