Where we have come from?

Clonkill Hurling Club, Founded in 1917

The name “Clonkill” is translated from the Irish “Cluain Cille”. Cluain meaning meadow and Cill/Cille meaning Church. This translates literally to Church in the Meadow as depicted in our Club crest.

We are the focal point in the Loughegar Community, offering excellent facilities for our members
